Day1. YANGON (Arrival with morning flight)
Upon arrival at Yangon, check into your hotel. A uniformed host
will invite you a welcome drink and collect your tour program
from our tour guide.
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport by morning flight,
welcome by our local tour guide.
Sightseeing will start with the famous world renowned pagoda;
the highlight of Yangon. Shwedagon pagoda described by Somerset
Maugham: "The Shwedagon rose superb, glistening with its
gold, like a sudden hope in the dark night of the soul of which
the mystics write, glistening against the fog and smoke of the
thriving city". This massive bell-shaped stupa rises nearly
100 meters above its hill-top surroundings. Wander through this
magnificent structure and its courtyards, stupa, bells, temples
and Buddha images and see religious and secular visitors from
all parts of the globe. Shwedagon has become the symbol of Myanmar.
And visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda (72m long Buddha image),Karawaik
Hall(designed as a Royal Floating Barge on Royal Lake) for Kodak
moment and finally visit the famous shopping centre in Yangon;
the Scott Market and come back to hotel.
In the afternoon, visit China Town area with various local foods,
Indian ward with various street sellers and drive to Mawtin
Jetty and take a rickshaw for a short trip along the Rangoon
River that offers a remarkable atmosphere with spectacular colors
for Kodak moment. Overnight at hotel.
Day2. YANGON-MAWLAMYAING
Early morning, drive to Mawlamyaing(appr:7 hours) passing through
Bago, Thathon ( the ancient capitals of Mon Kingdom).Upon arrival,
check into your hotel. After a short break, visit Mawlamyaing,
the capital of Mon State, is located at the bank of Thanlwin
River and a good place for a journey back into British times.
Visit Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, from where you have terrific views
over the city and drive to View Point and take photos. Overnight
at Hotel.
Day3. MAWLAMYAING-KYAIKAMI-MAWLAMYAING
After breakfast, drive to Kyaikami, where Judson, an American
Priest, arrived in 1825, with a nice view of beach and some
shopping at the colorful local "souvenir shop". On
the way back, visit Thanphyuzayat war cemetery, which contains
3771 graves of Allied POWs who died building the Burma-Siam
railway.
Day4. MAWLAMYAING-KAYIKMARAW-MAWLAMYAING-PHA AN
After breakfast,drive another 24km to Kyaikmaraw. Kyaikmaraw
picturesquely located at the river bank of the Ataran River,
easily reached by good road condition. Stroll around the charming
town consists of mostly wooden homes with thatched palm or some
covered with metal. Visit the famous Kyaikmaraw pagoda, built
by Queen Shin Saw Pu in 1455 in the late Mon regional style.
Please don't forget to come back to Mawlamyaing! In the afternoon,
take a ferry boat to Pha an (appr 2 ½ hour). The scenery along
the Thanlwin River is unforgettable for you. Upon arrival, the
car will pick you up and transfer to Parami Hotel. Take a good
rest at hotel.
Day5. PHA AN-MT.ZWEKABIN-PHA AN
Early morning, Visit Mt.Zwekabin& famous Thamyinya Monastery;
in this area you have to be a strict vegetarian. The markets
are full of vegetables, fruits and flowers-they have a famous
fruit, called "Durian". If you don't like this fruit,
it will give you a foul smell! Visit the downtown area and overnight
at Hotel.
Day6. PHA AN-KYAIKHTIYO
After breakfast, drive to Kyaikhtiyo(appr: 6 hours);transfer
from our car to a special open pick-up truck. They will ascend
to Hermit camp passing through the hair-pin curves of the road
(appr: 45 min).After 15 minutes walk, you will arrive Golden
Rock Hotel and check into your room. In the afternoon, proceeds
your walking to Golden Rock. On the way, you can see many side
street sellers displaying their local herbal medicine. When
you arrive at platform of Pagoda, you will see hundreds of pilgrims
are lighting candles, incense sticks, worshipping towards the
Golden Boulder which stands at precious position. Enjoy the
sunset from the platform and have a stroll at local shopping
centre. Walk back to the hotel and overnight.
Day 7.KYAIKHTIYO-BAGO-YANGON
After breakfast, descend from Hermit camp with open truck. Transfer
to our car and continue the journey with visiting rubber and
cashew nut plantation. Near Seikphu village, you can visit one
of the monastic education centres with poor students. In the
afternoon, you will arrive at Bago, the last capital of Mon
Kingdom with famous Shwemawdaw pagoda, Hinthagon Pagoda (the
birth place for Bago) and Kanbawzathardi Palace complex. You
can also visit Bago local Market, Shwetharhlaung Pagoda(reclining
Buddha image) and Kyaik Pon pagoda with four sitting Buddha
Images. Before you enter Yangon, you can visit Htaukkyant War
Cemetery with 27000 graveyards, they died for all free man during
World War II. Late afternoon, drive back to Yangon and overnight
at Hotel.
Day8. YANGON (departure with morning or evening flight)
Today, the tour ends with breakfast at the hotel and transfer
to Yangon airport for your departure.

After breakfast continue sightseeing of Yangon: Sule pagoda,
dating back over 2000years, the Mahabandoola Park with its Independence
Monument and walk around the downtown area and the sprawling
Scott market. Wide streets, orderly town planning and neglected
public buildings revive visions of British rule; while busy
streets scenes and shimmering pagodas, bursting through a leafy
canopy, hint at the rich local culture. Skyscrapers and glaring
neon billboards have yet to overtake the capital. And come back
to hotel and free at leisure till transfer to Yangon International
Airport for your departure flight.
